There is never a dull moment at Emerald Retirement Residence.  Every day is full of fun things for active seniors to do.  This past weekend was no exception during our weekly Happy Hour from 2 to 4 pm.

This week the residents were entertained by Elvis.  Some of us know him as Brad Boland.  His smooth voice and skillful guitar playing kept the group engaged for the afternoon.  Elvis and Brad are big favourites with the active retirees at Emerald.

The dining room at the Emerald Retirement Residence is very unique.  The stage, bistro bar and interior brick walls add to the ambience at this luxury retirement.  Final touches completed the show with Elvis memorabilia, costumes and lively upbeat music.

Our Chef inspired meals offer several nutritious meal choices each day.  On this special event we thought it would be fun to serve some of the snack foods that Elvis loved to eat.  Coffee, tea, beer and wine were also served.

Plenty of visitors from the Niagara Region joined in the event and many danced the afternoon away.  We always love to entertain family and friends at Emerald Retirement Residence.  This event was so popular that we filled the room and met lots of new friends.

We provided tours of the model suites and the facilities at Emerald Retirement Residence.  Several interested people decided to make this fun residence for seniors their new home.  We are very proud to be voted the Number One Retirement Home in Niagara this year.

The first anniversary of Emerald Retirement Residence is coming up this week – November 25, 2016.  Once again we will be entertaining a large group of residents, suppliers, contractors, friends, families and visitors.  Another favourite at Emerald, we will have Ron Dewberry entertaining the group from 2 to 4.  This upcoming event promises to be another fun-filled event with something for everyone to enjoy.
