From grand hotel to a home with a heart.
Before Emerald Residence was a retirement community, the building was a grand, welcoming hotel. Its generous proportions and gracious public rooms were designed to make travelers feel at ease, and that spirit of hospitality never left.
Today the building has been reimagined as a premium retirement residence. The wide corridors, high ceilings, hotel-style amenities and warm common spaces remain, now in service of a different kind of guest: our residents, who we welcome into the family every single day.
It is why the concierge-style service, restaurant dining and fireside lounges feel so natural here. Hospitality is in the building's bones, and it shows.

Set on Ferry Street in Niagara Falls, Emerald Residence is a warm community a short stroll from the falls and the Niagara Parkway. Inside, residents find gracious common areas, a restaurant-style dining room, quiet corners for reading, and gardens made for slow walks.
Each suite is a private home to be filled with personal treasures and familiar furniture. The residence itself is warm, bright and thoughtfully designed, with wide corridors, secure entry and a team that knows every resident by name.
